Personal Information

Rakow was judge of the Rockwall County Court at Law, and former assistant criminal district attorney for Rockwall and Kaufman counties. He is a past member of the Kaufman County Bar Association, and a member and past president of the Rockwall County Bar Association and Rockwall Rotary Club. He is also a volunteer with the Rockwall County YMCA, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rockwall Board of Trustees, and a past board member of the Rockwall Independent School District Education Foundation and Rockwall County Boys and Girls Club. Rakow received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law.
