Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude from Harding University 1977). Prior to public service, provided accounting and tax services to oil and gas producers, royalty owners, oil field service companies and other small businesses and individuals. Elected director of the Midland County Hospital District from 1989-1991. Elected to a six-year term as Railroad Commissioner in November 2010.
