Personal Information

Simmons is an attorney, owner of Simmons Legal Consultants, and a certified mediator. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a past member of the Houston Bar Association. She is also a court-appointed volunteer for Child Advocates of Harris County and a Girl Scout leader for the San Jacinto Council of Girl Scouts.

Simmons received a bachelor's degree from Houston Baptist University and a law degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
