Personal Information

Renee Cornett, R.D.H., of Austin, is a licensed dental hygienist and chair of the Austin Community College Department of Dental Hygiene. She is a member of the American Dental Education Association, American Dental Hygiene Association and Texas Dental Hygiene Directors' Association.

Ms. Cornett is a member of the Texas Dental Hygiene Educators' Association, Texas Community College Teachers' Association, and Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society. She is also a member of the Austin Community College Faculty Senate, a dental hygiene examiner for the Western Regional Dental Examining Board, and past chair of the Texas Dental Hygiene Advisory Committee.

Ms. Cornett received a bachelor's degree from Carroll College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is appointed for a term to expire February 1, 2015.
