Personal Information

Judy Morales was elected as Councilmember District 2 in May, 2011. She was raised in Temple and graduated from Temple High School. After graduation, she continued her education and received her Masters in Education from Antioch College. Judy has worked as the Director of Social Services for the Temple H.E.L.P. center administrating, planning and implementing community based outreach services and programs since 1972.

Councilmember Morales is an active member and current volunteer for a number of community service organizations, including the Vice Chair of LULAC Council #4971, Citizens for Progress, the Heart of Temple Angels Alliance, Work Force Solutions, and the EMBRACE task force. She also serves on the Executive Boards of Catholic Charities, Family Promise, Hill Country Community Action Association, Central Texas Homel
