Maria Teran of El Paso is president and chief executive officer of Sierra Machinery Inc. She is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America International and Equipment committees, Associated General Contractors of Texas and New Mexico, Texas Good Roads and Transportation Association Executive Committee, and Association of Ingersoll-Rand Distributors. She is also a member of the El Paso Metropolitan Planning Organization Technical Advisory Committee and American Heritage Rivers Advisory Committee, and a board member of the El Paso Public Service Board and Weststar Bank Board of Directors. Teran attended The University of Texas at El Paso. Reappointed 3/6/2013.
