Personal Information

Karl Swann, M.D. of San Antonio is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon with Neurosurgical Associates of San Antonio since 1986. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Methodist Hospital System in San Antonio and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, The Congress of Neurological Surgeons, The Texas Medical Association, The Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons, The North American Spine Society, and the Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Swann is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Michigan College of Literature, Sciences and Arts and an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of The University of Michigan Medial School. He completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at the Harvard Medical School - Massachusetts General Hospital.
