William Rice of Austin is a physician and senior vice president of clinical innovation for St. David’s Healthcare, and the Central and West Texas Division of the Hospital Corporation of America. He is a member of the American and Texas Medical associations, and a past member of the National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation and Texas Board of Nursing. He is also a board member and corporate sponsorship committee chair of the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Rice received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and surgical training at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston.
