Personal Information

Dorfman is senior counsel at Nabors Corporate Services and a faculty member of the National Judicial College. He is a former judge of the 129th Judicial District Court in Harris County, and a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association and its Communities in Schools Committee, the Federalist Society, and Texas Supreme Court Historical Society. He is a fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation, former adjunct faculty member of the University of Houston Law Center, and a past member of the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston. He is also a volunteer coach for the YMCA of Greater Houston youth sports program and West University Little League.

Dorfman received a bachelor's degree from Brown University, master's degree in history and political philosophy from Oxford University, and law degree from Yale Law School.
