Personal Information

Judge Burgess was appointed to the bench as 5th District Court Judge in 2003. In 2004, 2008 and again in 2012, the citizens of Bowie and Cass Counties re-elected him to three consecutive four-year terms. During that time, JUDGE BURGESS proved to have the diverse, in-depth experience necessary to serve the citizens of Bowie and Cass Counties in the 21st Century.
