Andrew L. Mr. Wambsganss has particular expertise in general corporate representation, international trade matters, commercial litigation, governmental relations and regulatory issues, real estate matters, insurance litigation, construction related litigation, banking, insurance coverage issues, appellate law and procedure, and public law issues.

Mr. Wambsganss currently serves as the Mayor of Southlake, Texas and previously served on the Southlake City Council and as Mayor Pro Tem prior to his service as a judge in the community. Mr. Wambsganss worked for Dick Armey (Majority Leader, United States House of Representatives and Representative of the 26th Congressional District of Texas) in the Majority Leader's initial congressional campaign (1984) and in various subsequent congressional campaigns as well as in Majority Leader Armey's district and Washington, D.C., offices in the 1980's. Following this service, Mr. Wambsganss attended the University of Texas School of Law and worked briefly for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in Washington, D.C., prior to joining the Second Court of Appeals of Texas in 1991 as a briefing attorney for Justice Hal M. Lattimore. Following completion of his judicial clerkship, Mr. Wambsganss joined Brown & Thompson, PC, as an associate attorney-becoming a shareholder/partner in 1995. Mr. Wambsganss has obtained the highest possible peer review rating ("AV")-said peer review rating reflects the confidential opinions of the Bar and Judiciary in grading an attorney's ethical standards and legal ability. Mr. Wambsganss currently handles a broad spectrum of international matters as well as general corporate representation and commercial litigation, insurance defense cases, construction related litigation, premises liability actions, bad faith cases, products liability, workers' compensation subrogation, banking issues, and church/ nonprofit organization matters. He also serves as legal counsel and/or general counsel to many local, regional and international businesses including Accent International Radio, Inc., ARN Consultants, L.L.C., United States Pharmaceutical Distributors, Inc., International Trade Partners, LP, American Pharmaceutical Packaging, Inc., International Trade Consultants, LLC, WRW Trust, as well as numerous other corporations, businesses, churches, ministries and non-profit entities.

Mr. Wambsganss is a 22 year resident of Southlake and along with his wife, Leigh, and their two boys, are involved in many community and philanthropic endeavors.
