Personal Information

Diana Flores, Lt. Col. (ret), of Helotes is a registered nurse and is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having been honorably discharged after 25 years of service. She is currently an action officer and nurse subject matter expert for the U.S. Army at Fort Sam Houston, where she provides oversight for the MEDCOM Ombudsman Program and works with regional medical commands, the Wounded Warrior Resource Center, and the Wounded Soldier and Family Hotline. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, American Nurses Association, Texas Nurses Association, and Association of Military Surgeons of the U.S. Flores received her bachelor of science from Texas Woman’s University and her masters from the University of Phoenix.
