Personal Information

Anne received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas and received her law degree from American University in Washington, D.C.

After law school, Anne worked in D.C. as a staff attorney, and later as the Deputy General Counsel, for the National Federation of Federal Employees. In 1992, she returned to Texas. Anne worked for the Office of the Attorney General, initially as a staff attorney, and later as the Deputy Division Chief in Tort Litigation, and had her own law firm. She concentrated in the area of medical malpractice and complex civil litigation. Anne started with the City of Austin Law Department in 2004 as the chief of litigation.

Anne has participated as faculty in many in-house continuing legal education classes for the Office of the Attorney General, the National Association of Attorneys General and the City of Austin. She is a graduate of the NIT A Teaching Advocacy Skills course. Anne is a certified mediator and is on the Board of Directors for Goodwill of Central Texas.
