Kenneth Bateman, Ed.D. of Garland is a private practice marriage and family therapist and professional counselor at New Directions Counseling and Education Center. He served as a professor for over 20 years, most recently at Amberton University. Dr. Bateman is a member of the American Counseling Association, Texas Counseling Association, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a Clinical Fellow of the Texas Marriage and Family Therapist Association. Dr. Bateman received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois and Doctor of Education in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
