Mr. Jarvis V. Hollingsworth is Vice Chairman of Irradiant Partners L.P., an investment advisor that focuses on investments in renewable energy and liquid and private credit.

Mr. Hollingsworth is the former General Counsel and served on the Board of Directors and the five-member Executive Committee of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P., a leading alternatives investment management firm with approximately $30 billion in assets. Before his tenure with Kayne, he was a Partner of the law firm Bracewell LLP where he served on the firm’s management committee.

Mr. Hollingsworth is former chairman of the TRS Board of Trustees, serving from 2002-08. He is a Director of Vital Energy, Inc. (NYSE: VTLE), a diversified energy company which engages in the exploration, development and acquisition of oil and natural gas, and as lead director of Core Scientific, Inc., the largest Blockchain infrastructure, hosting provider and digital asset miner in North America. He also serves as a member of the Memorial Hermann Health System’s board of directors, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Financial Sector Advisory Council and NACD Texas TriCities Chapter Advisory Board. Mr. Hollingsworth is a former Director of Emergent Technologies LP, a financial technology company that provides payment services in emerging markets using new blockchain-based payment technologies, and is also a former Director of Cullen/Frost Bankers Inc. (Frost Bank) (NYSE: CFR), based in San Antonio, Texas. He formerly served as Chair of the Board of Regents of the University of Houston System, and is also a former director of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Hollingsworth is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation, the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Bar Foundation. He received a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served for several years on active and reserve duty in the United States Army and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Mr. Hollingsworth is directly appointed by the governor to serve upon the TRS board.
