Personal Information

Rep. Birabil was born and raised in North Texas and has called Dallas and HD 100 home for two decades. She earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas A&M University School of Law. Prior to law school, Lorraine graduated from the University of North Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She is married to Joseph Amyson, and they are raising their daughter, Natalia, in the Buckner Terrace neighborhood of Dallas.
