Personal Information

The San Marcos City Council has elected Council Member Pam Couch as Mayor Pro Tempore at its Nov. 17, 2008 special meeting.

The owner of two boutiques in San Marcos, Ms. Couch was elected to a three year term in Place 5 on the San Marcos City Council on November 7, 2006. She was sworn into office on November 15 by her husband Bucky Couch.

Ms. Couch is the owner of Two P’s Boutique and Calli’s…A Sassy Boutique in San Marcos. A 15 year resident of San Marcos, she graduated from Belton High School and attended Texas State University.She has been active in many community organizations. She served on the Downtown Master Plan Task Force and has served on the Economic Development Council, Economic Development San Marcos, as well as the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce.

Pam and Bucky Couch are parents of Cody Couch, Adam and wife Casey, and Calli Swindle and husband Josh. They have two grandsons, Tru and Maddux Couch.

Ms. Couch was an active booster during her children’s school years in the San Marcos Public Schools. All three are graduates of San Marcos High School. She was very involved in PTOs and PTAs, served on the Campus Improvement Team, and was a parent volunteer. She also was active in Community Bible Study, serving as a core leader.

Ms. Couch enjoys doing speaking engagements on “Dress for Success,” a combination of spiritual and fashion presentations. She also hosts style shows for organizations.

She is active with the Texas State University Fashion Merchandising program, mentoring interns, speaking to classes and participating in their style shows.

Ms. Couch started Two P’s twelve years ago and Calli’s three years ago.
