Administrative Judicial Regions

First Region
Counties represented: Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Kaufman, Rockwall

The state is divided into eleven administrative judicial regions. The office of the First Administrative Judicial Region (1st AJR) is located in McKinney, Texas. The 1st AJR was created by the legislature in 1927 and currently covers 7 counties (listed below).

Second Region
Counties represented: Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Matagorda, Wharton

Third Region
Counties represented: Austin, Bell, Blanco, Bosque, Burnet, Caldwell, Colorado, Comal, Comanche, Coryell, Falls, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hamilton, Hays, Hill, Lampasas, Lavaca, Llano, McLennan, Milam, Navarro, Robertson, San Saba, Travis, Williamson

Fourth Region

The state is divided into eleven administrative judicial regions. The office of the Eleventh Administrative Judicial Region (11th AJR) has not been established. The 11th AJR was created by the legislature in 2017 and currently covers six counties.
